River Wood Fairy House 4

Fairies are among us. At least it feels that way in our magical yard in New Hampshire. 

The Salmon Falls River flows behind our house and sometimes, as we walk up and down the water, I'll find a piece of river wood - worn and unique - which speaks to me it's use as a fairy house. 

I collect the wood, patiently wait for them to dry and then enhance the piece with paint to accentuate the home I see. I add sometimes add natural elements like moss for a little more nature inspiration.

These pieces have been clear coated. 

Each is absolutely unique to itself and will need to be attached to a pole or otherwise propped up your fairy garden to best stand up right. A few together make a wonderful start to a new fairy community or as fun additions to your fairy garden. 

While these make fabulous pieces to spark the imagination, they are not intended for direct play. Rough handling may result in broken pieces of the house's natural design.

The natural features of this piece allows it to sit the front door on top of another structure, such as a log, as the longer back trails behind and helps prop it up. It has a small blue door to welcome fairy friends inside.

It is approximately 13 inches tall and 3.5 inches wide.
